At the Vorontsovsky lighthouse, there was supposedly a Chance lens of the 4th category. The tower of the old Vorontsovsky lighthouse was moved and installed at Cape Sarych in 1898. The lens discharge is the same as at the Vorontsovsky lighthouse. Taking into account the fact that it was planned to install a lens of the 3rd category on the Vorontsovsky lighthouse, I assume that the lens of the 4th category on Sarych may be the lens from the Vorontsovsky lighthouse.

Current tower since 1911 Active; focal plane 38 m (125 ft); white light, 3 s on, 3 s off. Approx. 15 m (49 ft) round tapered cast iron tower with lantern and gallery, painted white. 1-1/2 story keeper's house painted white with a green roof. Located at the southernmost point of the Crimean peninsula, the lighthouse was abandoned during the early Soviet period (1920s) because of its remote location. Its remoteness was an asset during World War II, when German troops never occupied the area. Located on Mys (Cape) Sarych, about 40 km (25 mi) southeast of Sevastopol.
About installation.
"...In June 1893, a specially appointed commission surveyed the cape and chose a place for a lighthouse on a small detached rock, marking it with a pile of stones and a pole. In 1898 to the construction site cast-iron tower was delivered by transport "Ingul" with a lighting device of the 4th category. By this time she
was already a “veteran”, as she managed to serve for about 20 years seafarers on the Quarantine Mole in Odessa (see “Vorontsovsky”).
The components of the tower were unloaded on the sandy deep coast, and then they were delivered to the place by pack method along a narrow path installation. The assembly of the tower and the construction of service buildings were carried out under the guidance of a junior civil engineer of the Directorate of Lighthouses of the Black and Azov Seas Vakhovsky. The installation and configuration of the lighting apparatus was carried out by the head of the camping lighthouse workshop on transport "Ingul" senior mechanical engineer Guzevich.
On August 20, 1898, a snow-white lighthouse with a tower resembling a chess rook opened regular lighting. The lighthouse shone with a constant white light with red and white flashes. The light source was a kerosene lamp with three horns. The height of the fire from sea level was 37.5 m, and from the base of the tower 12 m, the visibility range was 12.8 miles. In 1900, the kerosene lamp was replaced by a kerosene incandescent burner, which was used until 1957, when the lighthouse was switched to electric lighting.
Next to the tower for fog signals, a bell weighing 36 pounds, cast at the Perm plant in 1864, was installed. In poor visibility, the bell gave signals to sailors, warning them of danger. On it was the inscription:
"Lord, we pray for the sending down of well-being."
