Future Phases

The regeneration of the Chance Glassworks is a large and complex project, and the Trust is breaking it down into manageable phases:

  • Phase One: Focus on the restoration of the iconic 7-storey building, the adjacent engineering workshop, and the yard area. This phase will include a mix of residential, enterprise, and educational spaces, creating a foundation for future development.
  • Phase Two: Expand the project to include additional buildings and amenities, such as recreational facilities, public art installations, and further community spaces.
  • Long-Term Vision: Develop the entire site into a thriving urban village that combines heritage preservation with modern innovation, creating a lasting legacy for the community and future generations.
