Cape Columbine Lighthouse

Cape Columbine was the last manned lighthouse to be commissioned in South Africa, designed and built by Mr HC Cooper. The lighthouse was named after the barque Columbine which was wrecked there on 31 Mary 1829. It was declared a national monument in 1998.
