Chance Brother’s Branded Hysil Glass – The Process of Manufacture

This film shows the manufacture of Hysil-branded laboratory glass by Chance Brothers and Co Limited at their Spon Lane works in Smethwick. We see processes involved in the manufacture of Hysil glass, including mixing of materials, views of the furnaces and glass being blown into moulds and the production of cylinder glass.
