Withernsea Lighthouse

United Kingdom. England

Sited within the town, Withernsea was lit in 1894 using a first-order catadioptric optic made by Chance Brothers in 1858 that had previously served Whitby (North). Discontinued in 1976; the tower is now a museum and the Chance optic was relocated to St Mary Lighthouse, Whitley Bay.
