Pulau Biawak (Pulau Rakit, Boompjes Eiland)

Indonesia

The light is situated on a small island in the Java Sea approximately 65km north east of Kandangahur.
The lighthouse was a pre-fabricated build by Grofsmederij Leiden in the Netherlands with the first order optic supplied by Chance Brothers of Smethwick near Birmingham.
The present lantern was added in 1911 and I have made the presumption that the optic would have been updated at this stage though I have been unable to find any confirmation of this.
