Jaga Utara (Pulau Sebira, Pulau Seribu, Noord Wachter, North Watcher)

Indonesia

Yet again I have been unable to find much information regarding this Indonesian lighthouse.
The lighthouse sits on the northernmost island of the Seribu chain approximately 80 miles north west of Jakarta. The Indonesian Jaga Utara and the Dutch words Noord Wachter both mean north watcher or guardian of the north. In Chance's records it appears as Noord Wachter Java.
The lighthouse is the oldest surviving Dutch lighthouse in Indonesia and was fitted with a 2nd order optic manufactured by Chance Brothers of Smethwick near Birmingham.
Chance's records record it as both fixed and rotating at the time of manufacture.
I have been unable to find out if the original optic is still in situ but have presumed it has, like most Chance lenses now been replaced.
