Castle Island Lighthouse

Bahamas

The lighthouse was built on Castle Island in the south east of The Bahamas just off Acklin Island.
The initial optic was a second order manufactured by Chance Brothers of Smethwick near Birmingham but this was apparently replaced in 1934 with a first order light. I have been unable to ascertain where this was purchased from or what happened to the first optic.
